Position Title: Sourcing Specialist
Location: Denver, Birmingham, or Atlanta
Position #: Sourcing Specialist

Scope of Responsibility

The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for identifying potential candidates for a particular position that meets or exceeds client criteria. The main responsibilities are as follows:


• Build sourcing call lists using company database and outside sources (general networking, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Cold call / network to locate potential candidates using call lists (5-6 hours minimum phone time daily)
• Identify candidate qualifications using client criteria and matching this criteria against candidate experience
• Generate candidate interest in Client opportunities
• Conduct initial internal (Z1) interview
• Compile candidate qualification information and match against the job description from the client – compare qualification information
• Effectively communicate with the Z1 Client Manager / Managing Director

 

Additional Responsibilities:

• Clean-up/spell check resume, clarify gaps in employment and transitions, add months as well as years during position tenure, ensure all jobs are documented or known after college not included on resume
• Refer each potential candidate to the Z1 website to complete the Candidate Profile and Reference forms
• Update database with all relevant information
• Build spreadsheets with candidate information to send to the Client Manager / Managing Director
• Update database each time contact is attempted or completed as well as detail on what email information was sent to candidate
• Provide position information (i.e. press releases, job descriptions etc.) to potentially interested candidates
• Provide the Client Manager / Managing Director with regular updates (i.e. every 3 days at minimum) as to the progress and status on sourcing candidates
• Have candidates complete job criteria workup/business plan as required or as needed
• Forward résumé’s, criteria workups, business plans, etc. to Client Manager / Managing Director
• Set up confirmed Z1 interviews, client interviews etc. with candidate
• Prepare Candidate for telephone interviews (as determined by Client Manager / Managing Director)
• Coordinate and conduct reference checks and other application materials that the Client requires
• Obtain company rosters from candidates moving to face-to-face interviews
• 2 week, 45 day and 90-day follow up for those candidates that accepted the position

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree
  • Strong computer & organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience

  • Internship experience (sales ) preferred

  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability

 Compensation

  • Commensurate with experience
