Position Title: Director of Marketing

Scope of Responsibility

Responsible for the development and implementation of yearly marketing plans as well as, product launch plans. Will handle all aspects of product management ranging from forecasting and financial sales revenues, to communication with field sales regarding product or business segment updates. To accomplish business goals, the PM will lead cross functional teams, and work closely with other marketing team members, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Planning, R&D, QA/RA, Customer Service & Technical Support, and Marketing Communications.

Tasks & Responsibilites:

Product Launches and Post-Market Surveillance
Forecasting and financial analysis
Development & Implementation of Marketing Promotions / Programs
Market Research Analysis
Competitive Intelligence
Development of Sales Tools and Sales Training Modules
Customer / End User Facing

 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in marketing, business management, or related coursework.

  • MANDATORY: 5+ years marketing experience in product management.
  • MANDATORY: Laboratory diagnostic or clinical markets with global experience
  • MANDATORY: Sales or sales management experience in hospital and/or physician markets
  • MANDATORY: Experience working with distribution partners
  • Strong leadership, assertive, business acumen, executive presence
  • Proven understanding of point of care markets and how their dynamic growth relates to centralized diagnostics and the evolution of near patient testing
  • Clear analytical capabilities and tactical planning experience with marketing projects
  • Previous entrepreneurial experience and documented performance excellence
  • Excellent organizational, communication, data analysis, result summary skills
  • Compelling player on an executive management team with ability to manage to consensus and stir creative thought
  • Proven capability to understand markets and products that are technically oriented


 Compensation

  • Base Salary:   Commensurate with experience

  • Relocation:     Yes, full with potential mortgage subsidy

 Travel

  • 30%
