Position Title: Regional Sales Director
Location: Could live in or near most any major western city, such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, Portland, Seattle, Dallas, Las Vegas, etc.

Scope of Responsibility

The Regional Director of Sales (RDS) - West reports to the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and is responsible for these key areas:

  • RDS will focus on identifying and closing new client sales.
  • Develops strategic relationships with and sells solutions to CIO/CMO/CMIO/SVP level executives in multi-hospital health systems.
  • Prospects via cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Establishes and manages sales process, from lead and pipeline management to structuring negotiations for successful closure.
  • Arranges prospect presentations.
  • Conducts product demonstrations.
  • Plans and executes site visits.
  • Oversees contract negotiations.
  • Utilizes solution selling skills.
  • Demonstrates expertise in all aspects of the health information exchange marketplace.

 

Qualifications

  • RDS will have a network of health care contacts including senior executives at the CIO, CMO, CMIO, CEO and SVP level.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • 8+ years of experience selling to the senior executive level within the health care industry.
  • Experience with long sales cycles, high-level sales, and large quotas ($3M+).
  • Experience selling Electronic Medical Records and Electronic Health Records into the hospital market.

  • Strong strategic planning, consultative and analytical skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mentality to build the business and advance the company brand.
  • Ability to position solutions by thinking "out-of-the-box" and creating opportunity where none may appear to exist.
  • Ability to build C-suite relationships.
  • Experience with leading the sales process from start to finish.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor degree required with emphasis in technology and/or business.

 Compensation

  • Base Target:        $90K+

  • Bonus Target:      $90K+ at annual plan (uncapped)

  • Relocation:          No

 

 Travel

  • ~60%+ (field-based assignment & travel from home office)
