Scope of Responsibility
The Regional Director of Sales (RDS) - West reports to the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and is responsible for these key areas:
- RDS will focus on identifying and closing new client sales.
- Develops strategic relationships with and sells solutions to CIO/CMO/CMIO/SVP level executives in multi-hospital health systems.
- Prospects via cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Establishes and manages sales process, from lead and pipeline management to structuring negotiations for successful closure.
- Arranges prospect presentations.
- Conducts product demonstrations.
- Plans and executes site visits.
- Oversees contract negotiations.
- Utilizes solution selling skills.
- Demonstrates expertise in all aspects of the health information exchange marketplace.
Qualifications
- RDS will have a network of health care contacts including senior executives at the CIO, CMO, CMIO, CEO and SVP level.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
- 8+ years of experience selling to the senior executive level within the health care industry.
- Experience with long sales cycles, high-level sales, and large quotas ($3M+).
Experience selling Electronic Medical Records and Electronic Health Records into the hospital market.
- Strong strategic planning, consultative and analytical skills.
- Entrepreneurial mentality to build the business and advance the company brand.
- Ability to position solutions by thinking "out-of-the-box" and creating opportunity where none may appear to exist.
- Ability to build C-suite relationships.
- Experience with leading the sales process from start to finish.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor degree required with emphasis in technology and/or business.
Compensation
Base Target: $90K+
Bonus Target: $90K+ at annual plan (uncapped)

~60%+ (field-based assignment & travel from home office)
