Scope of Responsibility
The Sr. Director of Marketing is the senior marketing role in North America for the Molecular Diagnostics (MDx) customer segment. This role has primary responsibility for the marketing strategy and organization in North America. The marketing organization in North America has two components. A lab based marketing team headed by a Director, and a clinical focused marketing team also headed by a Director. Each marketing team is staffed by Associate and Marketing Manager level positions. Responsibilities are typically segmented by product and market area focus.
It is the responsibility of the Sr. Director of Marketing to develop strategies that protect and grow key franchise businesses in North America. In addition, the company is developing highly innovative MDx products to serve the broader molecular diagnostics market. The Sr. Director of Marketing’s input will be critical to determining appropriate product investments, market requirements, and the development of aggressive and novel go to market strategies for new products.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years professional experience in In-vitro Diagnostics industry
- Proven leader that has transitioned strategic vision to tactical execution within technology markets
- Crisp yet articulate advocate internally that has built organizational consensus in the past
- Change captain that has taken teams and given them a clear sense of mission and orchestrate the process that delivers on that mission
- International market involvement either directly or as a leader that coordinated with international units to deliver to results
- Character driven leader that will create environments that support the growth of individual team members
- BS/BA in Biological Sciences or Business
- Energetic contributor that will strengthen the marketing staff by their presence and contribution.
- Skilled executive who has been a proven influencer and motivator within a matrixed environment
Compensation
$195K base
30% bonus compensation
