Position Title: Hospital Sales Director
Location: St. Louis or Kansas City (Territory Coverage: MO, KS, NE, AR, W.KY, S.IL)

Scope of Responsibility

Lead and manage a team of Account Executives, Account Managers and Service Reps to grow business through a combination of bringing in new accounts as well as expanding sales with existing clients.  Responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure that the company remains the service provider of choice for the St. Louis / Kansas City region.  Plays a key strategic role in enhancing the company’s leadership position in the Hospital marketplace by driving revenue results through Hospital and Government customers and through strategic initiatives of the organization.  Lead the St. Louis / Kansas City region to exceed growth targets annually and ensure that strategic objectives are met in the marketplace.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven industry executive with a minimum of 8+ years of combined sales, marketing and management experience in the medical services, diagnostics, devices or similar industry.  Preference for clinical laboratory sales leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and improve a sales team, ideally developing the team for organizational growth.
  • Results-driven with a track record of developing high performing sales teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Life Sciences.  Advanced degree in Business, Marketing or Life Sciences preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of the laboratory and laboratory services.
  • Experienced in management of a large, geographically dispersed sales organization.
  • Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships.\
  • Capability to provide leadership and direction in a fast-paced and complex operating environment.
  • Ability to develop relationship with key stakeholders and influence those involved in making major decisions that impact the healthcare and diagnostic testing markets.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong executive presentation, public relations and communication skills.
  • Professionalism, Confidence, Self-Motivated, Ambitious, Business Acumen
  • Proficient use of Computer & MS Office Suite

 

 Compensation

  • Estimated Salary Range ~ $135K . Bonus Target: 30% of base salary at plan. 

  • Position includes stock options and grants. Allocation tied to annual performance.

  • Car:  Company car provided (Clean driving record – no tickets in last 3 years)

 

 Travel

  • 20-25%
