Scope of Responsibility

The Clinical Specialist (CS) uses expertise to support the company's vision. The CS facilitates the company activities by promoting the educational growth and development of the sales force and by developing collegial/professional relationships that influence change in healthcare in order to improve patient and clinical outcomes.  The CS represents the company to the customer and promotes an environment to assist with the provision of resources, execution of studies, and appropriate use of products in the development or maintenance of safe environments.

 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree nursing, physical therapy or a related specialty; WOCN or AAWM (CWS) board certification mandatory.  A minimum of five to seven years of work related experience  is mandatory. Strong industry/clinical network with management experience preferred

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Should be very comfortable making senior level presentations 

  • Demonstrated leadership attributes and ability

  • Comprehensive personal computer skills  especially in depth understanding and fluency with MS Office suite of programs

  • Demonstrated verbal and written analytical/problem solving, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential

  • Willingness to take ownership and accept responsibility for actions and decisions

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with diplomacy and tact while maintaining appropriate assertiveness and persistence

  • Ability to work effectively and comfortably with multiple functions and levels within business and collaborating organizations

  • Consistently demonstrated high levels of contribution

  • Demonstrated team oriented behaviors

  • Willing to travel extensively (>50%)

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.

  • Ability, talent, commitment and ambition to assume increased scopes of responsibility in organization.

 

 Compensation

  • Base:                  $85K+

  • Target bonus:     15% at plan
