Scope of Responsibility
Work with Vice President of Business Development on the creation and execution of a development plan for the defined territory. Build a broad network of practices with flexible service agreements and strong connection to the Company brand with “one of us” level relationships with the physicians they serve. Develop deep understanding of regional business conditions and develop expertise on the industry, competition, and relevant business trends. Advise senior management on findings and potential new opportunities. Establish and maintain strong long-term relationships with practices in the territory, and identifying future growth opportunities for new services. Coordinate development activities with Vice President of Business Development and Senior Vice President of operations. Coordinate, monitor, and help facilitate integration of services to new clients. Work closely with company based resources to ensure account expectations are met related to service, pricing and support. Responsible for ensuring the efficient adherence to certain administrative duties, including timely completion of expense reports, use of automation tools such as CRM, bi-weekly detailed sales metric reporting and analysis, and business planning. Maintain SOP. Responsible for handling administrative duties as it relates to trade shows and coordination of marketing at trade shows. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline (MBA or MHA preferred.)
- Minimum seven years of experience in healthcare development, territory management, financial consulting, and/or service sales.
- Tough minded leadership with proven ability to be successful with a conceptual selling model that ties financial ROI to the actions of MD’s.
- Charismatic presence that can equal the strength and presence of MD leadership in oncology practices
- Ability to understand financial statements and complex business models
- Proven ability to prioritize a pipeline of opportunities and convert it into a successful strategy for gaining new business on a regular schedule
- Ability to bring new and innovative approaches to a high growth business that sharpens the success of the entire team
- Excellent presentation and relationship skills.
- Proven ability to work with and influence physicians. Physician Practice environment experience preferred
Compensation
Target base: Commensurate with experience
Target commission: 100% of base at plan
Travel
- Travel as required to meet or exceed performance expectations. Up to 75%
