Position Title: Vice President, Corporate Accounts

Scope of Responsibility

The Vice President, Corporate Accounts is a strategic as well as tactical position and is responsible for leading and developing business efforts within the organization while building successful, long-term, strategic partnerships between the company and all national, strategic and federal accounts.

 

The role aligns the stakeholder needs and positions the company as the incremental business partner by becoming a supplier of choice within our product categories based on relationships and sound business practices.  The VP of Corporate Accounts is responsible for achieving revenue goals in assigned national/strategic/federal accounts by developing, coordinating, and executing each account level business plan.  The VP of Corporate Accounts is responsible for coordination of sales, marketing and operational efforts required to meet national/strategic account objectives.

 

 

Qualifications

  • B.S. in business or life sciences.  MBA is strongly preferred.

  • Mandatory previous executive experience and responsibility for Corporate Accounts inclusive of Group Purchasing Organizations, Integrated Delivery Networks, Government (VA – ViSN’s, DoD, etc.) and Managed Care Plans in healthcare markets in medical device & diagnostics (capital equipment, reagents, connectivity/software, services). Must understand the N. American market drivers and dynamics extensively. 

  • Mandatory 10+ year’s business experience including prior P&L management responsibility with a heavy emphasis on areas above, strategic sales planning and market strategy.  Extensive background in sales, corporate accounts & marketing is critical.  Proven track record managing a comparable business with knowledge of device & diagnostic markets including distribution methods, regulatory environment and technology sources.

  • Mandatory medical device and/or diagnostics experience.

  • Strategic & tactical responsibility and oversight for all strategic account contracting inclusive of GPO’s, IDN’s, Government and Managed Care Plans inclusive of reimbursement and coding.

  • Executive level relationships and contacts within target segment strategic accounts mandatory.  High level of executive presence and competence.

  • Must have the ability to segment markets and customers and previous successful record of achievement in developing sales and marketing strategies to introduce new products and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Prior extensive experience in direct & collaborative distribution channels, planning, forecasting, monitoring market share and customer satisfaction and measurement against P&L goals.  Should have an ability to establish systems to measure success of all programs and training directed to the sales organization.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.

  • Mandatory experience in, knowledge of and demonstrated performance excellence in direct and distributor sales and marketing.

 

 Compensation

  • Base Salary:             $150K – 180K

  • Bonus:                      50% of base salary at plan (uncapped)

  • Auto Allowance:        $650/mo. gross

  • Equity:                     TBD at discretion of President, Americas and SVP HR

 

 Travel

  • 70-80%
