Position Title: National Account Director, Biopharmaceuticals

Scope of Responsibility

The National Accounts Director will be positioning a medical informatics product with key leadership in all the larger pharmaceutical companies within the given geography. They will also be positioning a newly developed physician portal product that connects specialist from across the country on a wide array of treatment.  The service basket also includes some disease specialty educational products as well.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
  • Tough minded leadership with proven ability to be successful with a conceptual selling model that ties real financial benefit to acquiring customized analytics
  • Charismatic presence that can equal the strength and presence of executive leadership within pharmaceutical and life science clients
  • MINIMUM seven years of experience in healthcare data sales, high end institutional development with pharma or life science clients
  • Pharmaceutical product management or sales experience or product development experience REQUIRED
  • Experience selling data to pharma companies.
  • Preferably  oncology experience
  • Ability to sell a physician portal concept that engages physicians in the sales process
  • Excellent presentation and relationship skills. 
  • Proven ability to strategically manage a high end selling process

 

 Compensation

  • Target base: $120,000 – 130,000 (based on experience)

  • Target commission: $50,000 at plan but uncapped

 

 Travel

  • 20-25%
