Scope of Responsibility
Our client is looking to for future leadership and therefore this role may provide insights and feedback into a wide variety of market development initiatives. Identifies, develops, and implements strategies for increasing revenue growth and profitability. Presents the full package of company services with accompanying financial analysis to the physicians that are identified as qualified prospects. Networks among physician groups to establish new contacts that lead to agreements that are productive for the organization. Generates revenue and EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) in existing markets and creates new sales and EBIT in new markets with CSA (Comprehensive Strategic Alliance) relationships. Establishes and maintains long-term relationships with affiliations in region, identifying future growth opportunities.
The ability to really own the growth of the network within the Northeast will require this person to think, plan and prioritize their work over a lengthy sales cycle. The vision of the Business Development team and their supporting Associates will largely determine the long term success of the company. This is a high profile and high priority leadership role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline (MBA or MHA preferred.)
- Tough minded leadership with proven ability to be successful with a conceptual selling model that ties financial ROI to the actions of MD’s.
- Charismatic presence that can equal the strength and presence of MD leadership in oncology practices
- Minimum seven years of experience in healthcare development, territory management, financial consulting, and/or service sales.
- Business development experience required.
- Mergers & Acquisitions experience required.
- Ability to understand financial statements and complex business models
- Proven ability to prioritize a pipeline of opportunities and convert it into a successful strategy for gaining new business on a regular schedule
- Ability to bring new and innovative approaches to a high growth business that sharpens the success of the entire team
- Excellent presentation and relationship skills.
- Proven ability to work with and influence physicians. Physician practice environment experience preferred.
Compensation
Target base: $120,000 – 140,000 (based on experience)
Target commission: 100% of base
Travel
- 25%
