Scope of Responsibility
Lead the development of a rolling 5 year strategic marketing plan for the personalized healthcare initiative at company. Plan includes product line and services roadmaps, development plans and financial models. Oversee the development of rolling 24 month product line/service plans. Products/Services plans include positioning, new product development, pricing, promotion, channel management and geographical support. Lead selected strategic initiatives around biomarker discovery, companion diagnostic co-development, pharmaceutical pipeline analysis and diagnostic market analysis. Lead world wide marketing strategic initiatives, including the annual strategy development process, significant global launch activities and the global sales meeting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Market research and customer analysis
Competitive analysis
Strategic planning development and implementation
Portfolio planning
Financial and forecast analysis
Develop core external promotion materials
Collaborate with Medical Innovation and Product Development Groups
May perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
BS in Life Sciences or related discipline. MS/PhD w/MBA preferred
- 5-10 years marketing/sales experience in the pharma/clinical/life sciences industry.
- Demonstrated experience in: product management, marketing management, market analysis, business development, strategy development, product development/launch, and communication strategy.
Compensation
Base Target: $100K+ (Commensurate with experience)
Bonus Target: 20%
