Jim Zasowski, Founder & President

Jim Zasowski is the Founder and President of Z1 Solutions. Jim's career has given him extensive experience in marketing and sales management. Jim has over 25 years of experience in the diagnostics field. He has an outstanding record of recruiting and promoting sales personnel as well as management experience with marketing personnel. Jim has created and executed sales & sales manager training programs and he is recognized for his leadership and motivational skills. Jim's industry background consists of over 10 years experience in the diagnostics market with Abbott Labs inclusive of executive level responsibilities in management and marketing. Jim also held the position of Regional Sales Manager and the Director of Sales for 8 years at Biosite Inc., and was key in leading the company's sales to exponential growth during his tenure. Jim started Z1 Solutions, Inc. in 2000, leading the company to become one of the top executive search organizations in the country.

Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. He has been married for 25 years and has 3 children; Jimmy is the oldest and recently completed his MBA at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, Nicholas is a senior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Elizabeth is a junior at Regis Jesuit High School in Denver. Jim's family has resided in Centennial, Colorado for the past 20 years.

Dain Syverson, Executive Vice President

Dain Syverson is an Executive Vice President of Z1 Solutions, Inc. and manages clients who consist of Fortune 500, high growth mid-cap, privately held and venture capital-backed firms. Dain's industry background includes over 13 years experience in the diagnostics market inclusive of executive level responsibilities in Marketing, General Management, Corporate Accounts, Sales Management and International Operations. Dain's competencies include successful recruitment of:

  • Vice President & General Management (Domestic & International)

Prior to joining Z1 Solutions, Dain held positions as General Manager, Worldwide Marketing Director, Area Marketing Manager and Program Director- Europe, Middle East, Africa residing in Germany, Health Systems Manager, Area Sales Manager and various Marketing Product Management and Sales positions. Dain holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration & Finance from Oregon State University and has taken advanced courses at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Dain and his family reside in a northern suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.

John Lankford, Executive Vice President

Prior to Z1 John spent 17 years developing people and managing products in a wide variety of industry segments. Elements of John's financial analysis, sales and marketing experience and commercial operations management could assist Z1 clients in the following areas:

Previous experience in John's career included a position as National Sales Manager with an early stage cardiovascular biotech startup in San Diego and the successful venture allowed him the opportunity to complete an acquisition of a mid-sized company in the power transmission/distribution segment. During his tenure as President/CEO, this company doubled revenues while simultaneously tightening key performance metrics relating to inventory turns and product quality. The company made significant investments in value centric leadership development. Most recently John was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a biotech startup in the cardiovascular space where he built the sales and marketing team, created long term marketing strategies and established a "prime vendor" relationship with the largest distribution companies in the hospital and physicians office markets. John led a branding and diagnostics public relations campaign that resulted in articles about the company and its products in leading print publications including the Wall Street Journal and New York Times. Earlier experience in John's career included seven years in a leading medical diagnostics company in a succession of positions from sales to multiple product marketing management roles John attended Samford University where he studied International Economics in England through the London School of Economics, and graduated from Samford with degrees in Finance and Economics. John founded the Sigma Chi Fraternity while a Freshman at Samford University and served as their President for two years. From diagnostics, new technology point of care devices to manufacturing John has invested his career in building high performance teams in diverse market segments. John married his college sweetheart and they live with their three children in Birmingham, AL where he is an active member on several boards and civic organizations.

Bob Broady

Bob Broady has over 20 years experience in sales, sales management, marketing, and consulting. Bob's specialized training and core competencies include:

Prior to joining Z1 Solutions, Bob held positions as a Major Account Managing Sales Director, Sr. Sales Account Executive, Consulting Services Executive, Product Marketing Director, and Product Manager. Bob's experience spans established, leading-edge technology companies as well as startup ventures.

Bob has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a MBA from Dartmouth's Amos Tuck School. Bob and his family reside in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Michael Britton

Michael Britton is Managing Director within the Retained Search Group of Z1 Solutions, Inc. With more than 25 years' experience, Mr. Britton applies his extensive knowledge and talent to advise clients in industries including:

Greg Milberg

Greg Milberg has over 20 years experience in sales, sales management, and marketing. Greg’s specialized training and core competencies include: :

Prior to consulting with Z1 Solutions, Greg held positions as a Territory Manager, Product Specialist, National Sales Director, Country Manager and International Sales and Marketing Director. Greg has extensive international experience including Canada, Australia and Asia. He launched Biosite into new markets for Drugs of Abuse, Infectious diseases as well as cardiovascular markers for ACS and Heart Failure.

Greg has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Manitoba. Greg and his family reside in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Chad Travers

Chad Travers has over 10 years of experience in Executive Recruiting, Business Development, Mentoring, Training and Market Management.

His specialized training and core competencies include:

In addition he has held the position of Research Assistant at the Higuchi Biosciences Center for Neurobiology and Immunology Research. Chad has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Kansas. Chad now resides in Denver Colorado.

Kelly Munro

Kelly Munro joins Z1 Solutions, Inc. with over 17 years experience in the healthcare and medical markets. During her successful career prior to Z1, Kelly was consistently recognized as a top talent in sales, sales management, marketing and sales training with multiple awards and consistently exceeded performance objectives.

During her 17+ years in Medical Diagnostics, Kelly consistently performed in the top 10 percent of the National Sales organization and was promoted several times to increased scopes of responsibility. She attended numerous Presidents’ Clubs (top 10% designation) and earned many top sales awards throughout her tenure.

Kelly has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Spanish from the University of Illinois. Kelly and her family live in Atlanta, Georgia where they participate in sports and various local ministries and charities.

Jason Stanley

Jason Stanley joins Z1 as a Client Manager after a successful career in Information and Biotechnology Staffing. Jason has extensive experience recruiting, account development, mentoring and building successful teams in the Colorado region. Jason's specialized training and core competencies include:

  • Expertise in the recruitment of professionals from Entry to Executive level in the fields of Information Technology and Biotechnology.

Prior to joining Z1 Solutions Jason held a position as a Market Manager and also has 7 years prior experience in recruiting and account development/management. In his spare time Jason enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family. He and his wife reside in Centennial Colorado.

Prior to joining Z1 Solutions, Lisa held the position as Managing Director and she has experience as an Account Executive and Senior Sales Representative. Lisa and her family reside in Hillsborough, New Jersey.

Vicky Case, Executive Search Consultant

Vicky Case is an Executive Search Consultant at Z1 Solutions and brings over 25 years of experience in the Healthcare and Veterinary Industries. Vicky earned her Bachelor of Science, Medical Technology at Colorado State University and also has her MT ASCP and LEAN certifications. Vicky spent the first seven years of her career as a Medical Technologist and Chemistry Supervisor in hospitals in Denver and then transitioned to a Technical Specialist role with Abbott. After earning a number of awards including Presidents Club, she was promoted to an Executive Account Sales role, where she repeated her Presidents Club honors. From there, she became a Workflow Specialist and then moved on to Abbott Animal Health, covering Colorado and Wyoming.

Vicky's practical laboratory experience and her recent industry sales experience lend itself to fully understand the needs of both our clients and our candidates. Vicky and her family reside in Centennial, Colorado.

Matt Brisson, Sr. Manager of IT Operations

Matt Brisson has over 3 years of experience in the medical sales recruiting industry, as well 10+ years experience in the information technology arena.

Matt's specialized training and core competencies include:

Pat Jacobsen, Executive Assistant

Pat Jacobsen is an Executive Assistant at Z1 Solutions, Inc. and has extensive management support experience in sales and service environments.

Her background includes customer relations, event planning, personnel assistance and budget monitoring.

Pat is proficient in numerous computer programs. Prior to joining Z1 Solutions, Pat held various executive administrative assistant positions including 10 years with a major diagnostic company.

Pat has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University. Pat and her husband reside in Centennial, Colorado
